CAM 3D Machining Software and Tooling
In-house 3D machining software closely integrated with our Pro-Engineer installation. The combination of our 3D Machining software, available 4th Axis Option, and Mazak CNC machining centers give us the ability to provide the highest quality 3D machining on tooling, dies, and custom machined parts of various sizes. We have experience machining complex dies for casting, wing components for aerospace and military applications, and precision dies for tube processing equipment.
Precision Grinders (3X)
3 in-house precision grinders to achieve tolerances impossibly in any of today's milling equipment provide quick turnaround for critical tooling and die components.
Horizontal Milling Machine
48in X 48in X 48in
In-house horizontal milling machine provides the ability to run extremely large components accurately, reliably, and within budget.
Vertical Milling Machines (5X)
In-house milling machines provide quick setup and operation for time-sensitive manufacturing and modifications to tooling.
Lathes (3X)
In-house lathe equipment for high-precision machining of turned parts.
Saw (2X)
Two high-volume production saws to ensure timely turn-around on machined parts and minimal scrap material.
Lucifer Heat Treat Oven
2,000 degrees Fahrenheit
12in X 12in X 24in capacity
A high-capacity heat treat oven to adjust hardness of machined parts from 1rc to over 60rc as needed.
Blast-all
Sandblast equipment to remove finishes from machined parts, or to provide a consistent finish to machined or hardened parts.
Mig and Tig Welding
Mig: Steel, aluminum
Tig: Aluminum, stainless steel, steel
In-house weld shop with access to several mig welding machines and a high-strength weld table of 55in X 120in with capabilities to weld much larger components.
Quality
Starrett CMM
One of the largest CMM's in the area, our Starrett CMM provides the ability to reliably measure machined parts, pre-production parts, production parts, weldments, and gages from small components all the way up to the size of a complete motorcycle frame. The latest software from Metrolog provides the capability to directly import 3D files for visual comparisons.
Romer CMM Arm
Our portable Romer CMM Arm provides the capability to perform CMM quality measurements and verifications during on-site installations and runoffs. Completely portable with dedicated laptop workstation, we can isolate quality issues directly at the source and drastically cut tooling shim times in the process.
Rockwell Hardness Tester
In-house hardness tester to ensure machined and hardened parts meet requirements.
Production and Prototyping
CNC Tube Bender
Our in-house CNC Tube Bender provides all the pre-production, prototype, and small part run capabilities for bend, pierce, press, form, and trim operations. Complete with all the hydraulic equipment needed to produce production ready tubes, our CNC tube bender can provide a broad range of production services.
Robotic Weld Cells
Our in-house robotic weld cell provides an excellent opportunity for pre-production equipment runs, tooling development, weld development, and training opportunities. Equipped with SlagBuster torch cleaners, OI-15 Industrial HMI, and Weld Monitoring equipment our weld cell provides the latest technology for limited weld projects at competitive prices. All robotic weld equipment is available for sale to enable turn-around on extremely short lead times at reasonable costs.
Engineering
Pro-Engineer Wildfire
12 seats of the latest Pro-Engineer Wildfire with options to provide for FEA, CAM capabilities, and conversion from all major file formats such as Catia, SolidWorks, Autodesk, and older versions of Pro-Engineer.
Allen-Bradley Toolkit
Our controls engineers have access to the latest Allen-Bradley software across the entire line of hardware and equipment needs from RSLogix, Panelview, and motion control software needed for the job.
