More Than HMI

With an integrated 8-port network switch, two isolated network interfaces, VPN, VNC, built-in ODBC compliant database, and more, TRA's OI-15 comes prepared for todays advanced, industrial applications.

Sturdy Design

Industrial environments pose difficult challenges to any electronic hardware by presenting dust, vapor, heat, abuse, and liquid hazards.  That is why we designed our unit in a fanless enclosure utilizing the latest in heat dissipation technologies.  A fanless design, sturdy construction, and passive cooling eliminate the need for an additional enclosure and reduces the risk of failure in the field.

Installation & Maintenance

Even with the best precautions the realities of manufacturing can result in damaged equipment in the field.  TRA worked closely with top tier automotive manufacturers to develop the ability to replace damaged touchscreens in minutes.  The OI-15 comes ready to run off the shelf; no extra software to install, no licensing hassles.  Your application data is stored on an easily accessible data card that can simply be moved to the new unit.  You can also use the built in backup/restore utility with any off-the-shelf USB thumb drive to transfer or backup mission critical information.

Support

Nobody can predict when you will need support, which is why we provide all firmware upgrades free of charge directly on this website.  We also provide the complete OI Application Builder program we use internally to develop touchscreen applications as a free download.  Further support is available by contacting TRA directly.

Networking

Each unit comes with a built in 8-port hub to connect all ethernet devices together.  The built-in software also includes easy configuration for network address mapping which provides a secure way to bridge access between a broad factory network and an internal network system for a machine.  View, maintain, and update OI-15 through VNC remote viewer, FTP transfer of application files, and a built-in web interface for configuration.  An available wireless option allows wireless access to factory equipment.

OI-15H  Harddrive storage option.  For persistent storage of database or other information.  Due to hazzards of manufacturing environment and possible exposure to vibrations and shocks, TRA cannot guarantee lifetime of harddrive unit or integrity of data.  We advise our customers to implement a data backup program to prevent loss of information due to harddrive failure.   Optional solid-state drive available upon request.

OI-15W  Wireless networking option.  Access your OI-15 through VPN, VNC, or FTP wirelessly with an integrated wireless networking option.

OI-15R RFID reader option.  Provide secure access to screens and functionality by using existing RFID badges with this option.  Inquire for advanced options such as Robot Change Lockout and Logging, Access Logging, and notification verification.  (HID compatible, other vendor support available upon request)
